Wesley, we had the opportunity to work on a complete system over-haul.
The main JBL speakers are neatly clustered at the front of the
stage, providing excellent audio coverage throughout the sanctuary.
Church musicians also enjoy JBL 12" monitors on stage. All
devices needed for playback and recording are present, including a
CD player, burner, DVD player and cassette deck. Multiple
channels of Shure and Sennheiser wireless microphones and numerous
wired sources are all run to an Allen & Heath mixer, and managed by
a dbx Driverack 260 system processor. An electric drop-down
screen provides a large image space which can be comfortably viewed
from every seat, yet when retracted, it is barely visible. Video
signals can be easily switched and scaled at the touch of a button,
thus providing the video projector with the appropriate image source.
The church also enjoys distributed sound, with speakers and
volume contols located in the over-flow room, nursery and office.
